The Winetree has enjoyed a 25 year relationship with our Evansville area customers. In November 1980 the business then known as Thrifty Liquors was purchased. A fine local establishment to be sure, but for all practical purposes just a normal liquor store. Six years later, and after much careful consideration and debate, a change in focus gave way to a change in name, The Winetree.

Our history in the community for dedication, perseverance and honest hard work has evolved The Winetree into the Tri-State's number one choice for quality, and hard to find, libations from all over the world. We have enjoyed sharing many local events, charity fundraisers and educational experiences with the Tri-State.
