No this isn't were the corkscrews are.

Tales from the corkscrews
Do you have a (cork)screwy tale? If so please send it in to our chief de-corker for review and possible publishing here on The Winetree's website.
What is the corkscrew's job? How can we quantify it? Most important, when one has a nice bottle of wine - where the hell is it? At The Winetree Liquors we eagerly test all corkscrews offered for sale in our stores. The following is our primary testing procedure:
The corkscrew test
- Is it ready to go or will it require concentration and directions to work?
- Does it help you guide the spiral into the center of the cork or is it entirely up to your marksmanship?
- Does it penetrate the cork bottom? Oops!
- Does it have a tendency to destroy the cork? Bad...
- Does it push the cork into the bottle? Not good.
- How much force will it take to pull the cork out? A three to five second grunt may be too much!
- Is it easy to grip the bottle while using it or do you need several helpers?
- How hard is it to get the cork off the spiral? Before and after you've enjoyed the wine?
- How long does the process take? Come on, I'm thirsty!
- Does it work well on old bottles with fragile, dry or hard corks?
- Is there a foil cutter or is that what the bread knife is for?
Enjoy!
